Lun-Xiu Qin, MD, PhD, Professor of Liver Surgery, Vice-director of Liver Cancer Institute, Fudan University. He is one of the founding members of the International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA), the Chairman of Cancer Metastasis Association of Chinese Anticancer Association, Chairman of Shanghai Association of Tumor Molecular Target. He is one of the Distinguished Young Scholars (China National Science Fund). He is the director of the Innovative Research Team and Outstanding Scholars in New Era (the Ministry of Education of China). He is focusing on the study of metastasis and recurrence of hepatoceullar carcinoma (HCC), particularly the molecular prediction of metastatic recurrence after HCC resection. He is taking charge of many key projects such as the China National Key Projects for Infectious Disease, and has published over 70 papers in the peer-reviewed English journals including Nat Med, Science, Cancer Cell, Hepatology, Gut, Oncogene, Cancer Res, Clin Cancer Res, etc. He has received many scientific awards and honors from the government including the State Natural Science Award of China (2010).
